This project was done with Designers Collective in Vancouver. This update was for an unused basement space in a West End church, where they wanted to provide a gathering space for the community. We had to be very aware of budget and materials as this was going to be a well used space that would endure a lot of wear and tear. A fireplace, new lighting, new flooring and new paint came together to create this welcoming space. As we were peeling back the layers of paint a beautiful rock wall was discovered which became the focal point of the whole basement.
